Carlsbad Classic is proud to be partnering with Operation Underground Railroad in raising awareness to end child slavery.
About Operation Underground Rescue (O.U.R.):
Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) is a non-profit organization that rescues kidnapped children from slavery. O.U.R. rescue teams are comprised of highly skilled ex-Navy Seal, CIA and other operatives. These teams work in conjunction with and in full cooperation with local police forces and governments to liberate children around the world. The O.U.R. mission is straightforward: using cutting-edge computer technology and human intelligence, O.U.R. rescue teams go into the darkest corners of the world to help local law enforcement liberate enslaved children and dismantle the criminal networks. Statement by Jerry Gowen, COO:
There is no other cause on earth more important than rescuing children from slavery. This is the epitome of helping those who can’t help themselves. These children are victims in the truest sense of the word and without Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) taking the initiative to organize rescue missions to save them, they truly have no hope. While going through the process of making my decision to leave my previous company to come and work with O.U.R., it was clear to me that this is an organization that is unique in its ability to take action in accomplishing its mission. All you have to do is look at the successful operations we’ve completed over the past year and the 250 children who have been rescued and are now free to see that the donations that are made truly make an immediate impact in the lives of children around the world. I believe there is no other organization that can make this same claim. Everything we do is done with the purpose of rescuing children and giving them hope. And once they are rescued we remain committed in helping these victims rehabilitate and start news lives where they can feel the same light most of us feel on a regular basis.
